The Ferguson Fire Department consists of two fire stations and is staffed by:
Assistant Fire Chief
Two Batallion Chiefs
Three Captains
21 Firefighters/EMTs
The staff are Certified Firefighter I and II by the St. Louis County Fire Academy and Missouri's State Fire Marshal. Officers have additional certification as Fire Officers I by the same organizations. Three members of the department have additional certification as Fire Investigator I by the State Fire Marshal.
Safety Day
The Fire Department hosts an Annual Safety Day event for the community with demonstrations on home and automobile safety, games and activities for children, and more.
