Clean Rivers Open House - November 5th - Nov. 5
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District wants to share with you its plan to reduce the amount of sewage that enters local rivers and streams during rainstorms. This plan recommends $1.9 billion in new spending on sewer construction and "green" practices. The $1.9 billion is in addition to approximately $4 billion of infrastructure investment that MSD already plans over the next several decades to address sewer overflows throughout the St. Louis area. If the new plan is approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, it will help MSD meet state and federal mandates on water quality. Come and learn more about the program's long-term benefits and costs to our region. Share your thoughts about this multi-decade, multi-billion dollar sewer improvement program.
